Serial No. 1712500, made in 1943, .30-06, 24"" round import marked barrel dated 1967. Bore is dark with oxidation noted throughout. Op-rod has been modified, Walnut Stock shows expected nicks, dings, and scratches. Metal retains approximately 85% arsenal finish with edge wear visible. Action functions correctly. Rifle's barrel was made at the Republic of China's 205th State Arsenal. These rifles were part of the Military assistance Program for Taiwan, they ended up making the barrels as part of a service life extension program. Very unique M1 Garand!
