Description:
The Model 1901 is a 10 Gauge only lever action shotgun with a strengthened action to handle Smokeless Powder. 32 inch round barrel is marked "FULL". Bead front sight. Bore is bright with some pits visible. These were chambered for 2-7/8 inch Smokeless Powder shells. Most all original blue remains on the barrel and 5 shot magazine tube as well as the frame with some wear to the high points. Crisp markings. Wood is in good condition with typical handling mars. Action is crisp and tight. Comes with a Factory Letter. Only 13,500 made between 1901-1920. A better than average example for your collection.
