Offering up today a wonderful Saddle Ring carbine by Winchester, the model 1873 chambered in .44-40. This is the one with the integral dust cover - which is fully intact and functional. The action is smooth. The bore is clean, shows good rifling, with some pitting. The saddle ring is intact as is the dust cover. It looks like the Stock has been replaced and the Fore end It will come with the original. I included pick of the stock set I got with the rifle they said was original. The Rifle is in excellent working order and shoots like a dream. Sold as is though. The serial number dates this gun to 1888. Comes with 100 rounds Cowboy 44-40 ammo
