Description:
Third Model Takedown frame with blued finish with 19 inch octagon barrel chambered in 22 WRF caliber. A decent bore with scattered light roughness and visible rifling that may improve with a good cleaning. Shortened barrel has a reapplied blue with some scattered spots of light corrosion. Redfield blade front and sporting rear sights. Mag tube has thinning blue. Receiver also has reapplied blue that is thinning. Bolt is a gray patina. Walnut stock appears to be from a Model 1906 and has been lightly sanded and is undersized at the buttplate. Nice crisp action that should make for a fun shooter. About 849,000 of these were made between 1890 through 1932 and this one was made in 1928.
