INDIAN WARS SPRINGFIELD U.S. MODEL 1884 TRAPDOOR .45-70 CAL. RIFLE. All original 1886 production date during the Geronimo-Apache War and has the Model 1879 rear sight seen on these transition Model 1884 rifles. Very good to fine with even 50-60% blue and patina. Excellent markings on metal faint trace of cartouche on left side of stock. Extra nice bore and perfect working order.
