Higgins Model 30 - Semi - Auto -.22 LR Rifle - Smooth walnut 2 piece pistol grip style stock and forend with butt plate and wrist cap that are in excellent condition. 24 In. long barrel with adj. rear open sight and a ramped front blade sight. Tubular magazine with 15 LR capacity. Receiver grooved for scope. Includes an original J.C. Higgins Rifleman 4X scope with adapter. Scope is in very good condition with clear lens. Bore is clean and bright. Barrel and receiver are retaining approx. 95% bluing. Built-in 1 In. wide red retractable carry sling. Stock and foerend are in excellent condition with minimal handling marks. The overall condition is exceptional for the age of the rifle . Manufactured from 1950 to 1953. Manufactured by High Standard and sold by Sears . Very stylish rifle both then and now. Great addition to any collection.
