Description:
The Hunter Arms Co. was formed to manufacture L.C. Smith shotguns around 1891. This extractor gun was manufactured in 1928 and remains in good overall condition. Wood is solid with no cracks but has long ago had a heavy coat of finish added that has accumulated in checkering. There are some light dings and scratches all over. Little blue remains on barrels but bores are excellent. Receiver finish is also very worn with spots of light pitting all over. Barrels still ring true and serial numbers match. This would make a great project gun. Ninety four years of history in this old shotgun! 16 Gauge
