Description:
For sale is an early pre-war, pre 64 Winchester Model 70 action complete with bottom metal. The action is the standard .473 bolt face. The action is in fair overall condition. There are some scratches on the receiver, the floorplate and some on the trigger bow, but would clean up when re-finished. The serial number is 48436 (1941) and matches bolt. The rear bridge has been drilled and tapped for scope mounts by the gunsmith, as well as one hole professionally filled by the gunsmith. See photos. All inquiries are welcome. FFL is required.
