Description:
This is a LC Smith Field grade 20 gauge SxS shotgun with automatic ejectors. It is the original American made sidelock shotgun that is well known for its sporting lines, quality craftsmanship and overall great shootability. This 20 gauge has 28” raised solid ribbed barrels that are choked Imp Mod/Full It also has double triggers for instant barrel selection on the flush. The pistol grip stock has a 14” LOP to the original butt plate, 1 ½” DAC and 2 3/8” DAH with neutral cast. It has very fine remaining 50-60% case colors, thinning but good barrel blue. Mechanically excellent with great bores. It has a FWS frame that was made between 1946 and the end of production in 1950. There is a minor crack in the forend that can be easily fixed by a compentent wood man.
