( Fun Fact:  The AR10 rifle was developed by Armalite before the AR15).  The SIG 716 has taken the AR10 style rifle to the next level in terms of performance, reliability and accuracy.  Unlike Stoner's original design (and the design of most contemporary guns), the SIG 716 utilizes an adjustable direct impingement short-cycle piston system to eject the spent cartridge, chamber a fresh round and re-set the trigger.  This translates to much less heat, fouling and gasses being transfered to the receiver, for cooler, cleaner operation and cycling.  It also improves inherent accuracy as harmonics of the traveling gas are not transmitted to the barrel.  This LNIB gun has only been taken to the range once, for sighting and function testing.  It has had three magazines (60 rds.) fired through it...otherwise it is as new and received from SIG.  It has a black MagPul, six position adjustable ACS buttstock and black MIAD pistol grip (as received from SIG). Enhancements include the MagPul enhanced/extended trigger guard and a Yankee Hill Machine muzzle brake, which greatly reduces perceived recoil to the shooter and minimizes muzzle lift.  The original SIG trigger guard and A2 flash hider are included with the sale, as is the original 20rd. magazine.  The handguard is SIG's aluminum carbine length quad rail design.  The barrel is a medium weight, 16.1" carbine length with chrome-moly bore. The BCG has a Boron-nitride coating for smooth, reliable cycling.  In addition, an EO Tech XPS2 holographic sight is included with the gun.  This is a great example of one of the best AR10 variants available on the market today.
