"Serial number 1945. Made in the late 1850s to early 1860s. 44 caliber with a 27" barrel. This gun is in excellent original condition with 90% plus of the original blue on the barrel. Bright blue remains on the frame as well. Wood is excellent as having a coat of varnish added. Very fine example of a Colt 1855 Revolving Rifle!
