Description:
This is a S&W 4-screw Pre-29 4" .44 Magnum Revolver with original carbonia blue and Coke grips. It was made back in 1957 and is a scarce variation as the 4-screw with no model number was only made a very short time. The gun is in lovely original condition. There is touch of muzzle wear and minimal handling marks. The Coke grips are very nice, easy to tell real Cokes because of the larger checkering pattern and oval shaped bottom. No cracks or chips on the grips! All Coke grips have a releif cut on the upper corner near the trigger guard. Not a chip! The gun looks to be virually unfired by examination of the bore, cylinder, forcing cone and back plate. The bore has deep rifling and is mirror bright. Action is smooth and tight. No box or case with this gun. It has Target trigger, target hammer and of course the target Coke grips. Red ramp and white outline sights are original. It is pinned and recessed of course. Serial number is S170,.xxx. A beautiful gun that is guaranteed to make you happy. I am Oregon Lumberjack on the other big site with 1000's of positive feedbacks.
