In the beginning the Volquartsen family were not quite sure what they wanted to do in the fire arms community. They first milling barrels and actions for .22 rifles. They started by doing custom barrels and triggers for Ruger 10/22's. This is one of those early guns. Later they began making their own guns under the Volquartsen Label.
