Description:
This pre-owned original Marlin model 1895CB chambered in the big boy round 45-70 Government overall is in great condition. The butt stock does have some minor impressions and some marks in which may be from shooting from a benchrest. Other than the aforementioned marks the gun is in remarkable condition with the original blue finish having only minor handling marks which are only noticeable upon very close examination. The bore is clean and bright with very crisp rifling, and the action is smooth and locks up solid with a very crisp trigger which breaks right at 4 lbs. This rifle doesn't appear to have been fired much post factory. .45-70 Government
