Springfield Model U.S. Rifle M1 Garand is a right-hand semi-auto U.S. Military rifle in .30-06 Springfield. It has a 24-inch barrel. A blade front sight with protective sides and an adjustable aperture rear sight. The butt stock is a smooth hardwood pistol grip. The forearm is smooth two-piece hardwood. SA Barrel dated 10-43. MW: 1+, TE: 2. The rifle was manufactured in May 1945. This rifle has Springfield components including an un-cut Op Rod. The Garand was the service rifle of the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War. It remained in service with the Army Reserve, Army National Guard, and the Navy into the early 1970s. .30-06 Springfield
