Description:
This is a bolt action single shot carbine with 20 inch round barrel chambered in 50 RF caliber with a mint bore. This gun is in beautiful shape with most all the metal finish still intact. Vivid case color on the "1865" marked side plate. Wood is very good condition. Original saddle ring. Original sights. Crisp cartouche and several inspector marks. The trigger guard has started to tone and turning a little plum color. It is estimated that only 1,001 of these carbines were produced.
