Description:
Super Cool and ultra light weight 12ga 2" gun by famed maker John Dickson & Son. 27″ dovetailed barrels are silver inlaid “FOR 2 INCH CASE ONLY” on the plain Churchill style rib. Tops of bbls. are engraved “J. Dickson & Son”. Barrel flats are stamped w/ Birmingham nitro proofs for 2” chambers & 1 1/8 oz. of shot. Case hardened boxlock action features automatic saety, double triggers. Action is engraved w/ about 50% coverage bursts of scroll within line & scroll borders. “J. Dickson & Son” are on scroll terminated riband on each side. Blued top lever, trigger plate & trigger guard are engraved with matching scroll, SN is on trigger guard tang. Nicely fiddleback figured & lightly streaked European walut straight grip buttstock measures 14″ over checkered wood butt. Flat top point pattern checkering is at grip & a vacant silver oval is on toeline. Short matching splinter ejector forend has Anson release. Gun is housed in a green Brady canvas and leather case.
