Description:
This is a bag shaped handle slightly larger frame with a 5” 34 caliber 6 shot barrel and is marked Allen & Thurber Worcester 1845 patent date. This has very good mechanical function and is good plus finish, the grips are good plus with a couple of dings. It retains 25-30% faded blue finish with blue in the flutes. This has engraved side plates and an engraved nipple shield and is matching serial number 162. The Baby Dragoon is difficult to come by and was used during the Gold Rush and the Civil War by both sides.
