Description:
Plants Mfg. Co. Front Loading Pocket Revolver.  Also known as Eagle Arms Pocket Model.  This is a .30 caliber cup-primed front loading 5-shot revolver.  There was approximately 20,000 of these made in the mid-1860’s and although none of these were known to have been ordered for military use, this diminutive revolver is stamped, just in front of the serial number with “APC” for A P Casey who was a US Military inspector!

This revolver is in marvelous, original condition.  Tight as the day it was made; great bore and rifling; excellent grips with 99% varnish; screw heads are straight; even the cylinder inscription is excellent.  The top rib is marked EAGLE ARMS CO. NEW YORK.

So a very desirable, tiny revolver made in the Civil War Era and APC marked.  Was it a limited ordered small revolver for a senior officer’s belly gun?

Comes with six (6) cup-primed cartridges.
