This is an original Winchester Broad Axe. It has an overall length of 14.5 inches. The axe head on the business end is 4.5 inches. "Winchester" is emblazoned on one side of the head.
Not sure how old this axe is but I'm 76 and this axe has been in my family for as long as I can remember.
