SOLD We have just received a AS NEW Smith Wesson model 27-2 in it's original box, with the paperwork, knox rust paper and the tools.This still has the blank warranty card ! [see pics]
This gun was made in 1966 when Smith was at their top of QUALITY. This has the 5" BBL which is the most desireable.. This has been in a private collection since new and only fired 6 times?. then became a safe queen for the last 57 years. this would be impossible to upgrade. the diamond grips are numbered to the gun. sideplate
has never been removed! NO idiot rings around screws! This is a absolute RARE find!!!!! This is the gun when only the best will do! Center of any smith collection.. more pictures to serious inquiries. any questions on finish, this has been stored using RIG grease for protection..bluing is 99+% period. Please see pictures.After a extreme evaluation, I see NO evidence that this gun was fired out side of the factory. I really think the owner may be confused with another gun..We may consider keeping this one !!
