For consideration is a CMP Kimber of Oregon Model 82 Government single shot bolt action target rifle in .22 long rifle. The Kimber 82 Government Model is a bolt action rifle chambered in .22 LR with a 24″ bull barrel. It features an adjustable wood stock, adjustable rear sight, and cylinder front sight. The overall length is 43″ with a length of pull of 13.5″. This gun is in excellent condition and has never been fired. The rifle was solely designed to serve as the U.S. Military training rifle. The receiver is correctly marked "US" above the serial number. This particular example is in excellent condition.....in fact, it was still sealed in the rust-preventative bag when it was received in order to verify the serial number. There is one mark on the left side of the stock towards the bottom as seen in the last photo. All original inserts for the globe front sight are included as well as the plain original box as supplied to the US Government. The adjustable rear aperture sight is as good as they get...very high quality. This fine Kimber 82 Government stands up very well among the best rimfire target rifles. Every component on this rifle is absolutely top-notch...very smooth and solid action. This rifle would make a great shooter or an excellent addition to a collection.
