The PP is a double action/single action hammer fired gun. The PP (Polizeipistole, or police pistol) was introduced in 1929. It is one of the world’s iconic designs and is still in production. This example serial number 249798P was manufactured in 1942. It has all matching serial numbers and the Waffenamt code WaA359, it has a mirror bore, correct WWII Walther black plastic grips and functions correctly. The pistol is in very clean condition, it has some holster wear showing at the muzzle and slide, exactly as should be expected from a service weapon! The front and back grip straps show natural handling use. Included are two magazines and a holster displaying a very sharp acceptance stamp above the catch. A classic PP rig, and a truly collectable firearm. Thanks for looking!
