Description:
This little rifle was made in Suhl, Germany, some time before WWI. This is a very unique "rook" rifle in what we believe to be .22 LR. (A 22 snap cap works well in its chamber.) And the firing pin is at the top of the bore. It has all the proof marks one would expect, B, U, and G, with the crown above them. Plus an anchor, that I could not find any reference on. It also has a nifty flip-up peep sight for precision shooting and the normal notched blade too. Also, double triggers, one heavy, and one light. As we have no record of this gun and have never seen another, value is based on age, uniqueness, and craftsmanship. Unknown

Metal Condition: "Receiver is case hardened and in very good shape. The barrel is in great shape too, with normal patina.
Wood Condition: "Wood is pretty good, for a roughly 128-year-old gun. Crescent shaped dents on left side of grip. And the usual scratches and dings.
Bore Condition: Bright and clean.
