1895 LTD V .45-70 Blued ballard rifling 24" half octagon, half round barrel. Pistol grip Checkered walnut stocks. Special run by Marlin for Davidsons 1001 made, made in 2001.
I am selling my complete collection of the Marlin LTD series (I, II, III, IV & V) and this is the fifth and last in the special run of LTD's which was manufactured in 2001. The gun condition is 97% and has been lightly used. This gun has been stored in my climate controlled gun room and has a couple of handling marks on the stock & fore end and has a small scratch on the barrel (see pictures). The gun currently has a Skinner Peep Sight added and the original rear sight is included with the gun. This gun has the "safety delete" modification, the original safety is included, should the next owner choose to return the gun to the original configuration. I also added a Ranger Point Precision (RPP) Big Loop lever and the original lever is also included with the gun.
