VERY FINE CONDITION 1894 .30WCF OCTAGON RIFLE WITH SPECIAL ORDER SHOTGUN BUTT, #382XXX, MADE 1908. This classic 1894 retains about all the deep blue on the barrel and magazine with only the slightest of edge wear, exc markings. The receiver shows fine deep blue on the sides and bolt with only normal thinning toward the front portion and on the receiver bottom along with typical light edge wear. Excellent screws, still some light case color mainly on the left side of the lever with some on the right. Excellent stock and forearm with tight wood to metal fit. Fitted with a Marbles tang sight with standard blade Winchester front sight and blank in the rear sight dovetail. Winchester embossed hard rubber butt plate. Tight action with strong half-cock safety notch on the hammer. Sharp 115 year old special order 1894. (NOTE: the black spot on the forend bottom right was grease that wiped off)
