Description:
Springfield 03-A1 bolt action rifle in 30-06 Springfield, serial #1396123. I purchased this rifle decades ago. All Springfield parts, but has been arsenal rehabbed, probably for World War II. Does not have C Stock or A1 trigger. Barrel gauged at 2.8 (several thousand rounds left in this barrel). Barrel is dated 08-31. Serial number indicates that it is likely a 09-10-1931 production. This rifle has normal wear for its age, showing some scratches and dents in the stock from years of use (refer to photographs). Metal finish on the gun is in good condition. This gun is a beautiful representation of the classic Springfield 03-A1. I will consider reasonable offers and am willing to discuss this firearm with any potential purchasers.
