Offered for sale is a really nice, original Harpers Ferry U.S. Model 1855 Rifle-Musket, manufactured in 1860 in Harpers Ferry, Virginia. Maynard tape priming system. A very scarce rifle and is way above average for one of these. Excellent action. The rifled bore is in near MINT condition. This stock is nice and solid . Nice Cartouche on stock. “1860” dated lock and barrel. The number "21" on a brass tack on the top of the comb ahead of the buttplate. A really rare, and as nice as you will find early Civil War from Harpers Ferry! Asking $8500. +60 shipping. THANKS!!!
