This is a Fazakerly-made, 1953-dated rifle that retains about 98-99% of the original black Suncorite finish with only minor flaking along some of the high points and projections, as well as along the bearing surfaces of the matching bolt. A milled adjustable rear sight is fitted, and the walnut stock and furniture are in excellent condition, with some minor handling marks and small surface blemishes marring the military oil finish, and a matching number on the underside of the forend. A single matching numbered magazine is included, as is a non-matching Mk. 9 bayonet and scabbard that are in excellent condition as well. This is a splendid example of a Korean War era No. 4 rifle, and rates excellent condition overall. FFL or C&R SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
