Description:
1894 rifle 26” Octagon barrel has sharp edges and barrel markings. Shotgun butt. Manufactured about 1898. Most of the factory blue is still present on the barrel, magazine and frame. Polish marks still visible on frame. Strong rifling with light pitting. Sights options appear to be factory Winchester express rear sight and a Lyman ivory bead front sight, with a Lyman No. 1 combination, second variation rear sight. Some case colors remaining on the lever and hammer. Wood is in excellent condition. Screws are in very good shape. Very nice early high condition model 1894 rifle.
