These rifles are known to be a very accurate .22LR, especially for the time they were produced. It is a break action single shot that operates using the trigger guard/lever. It functions just fine and fires just as accurate as it should. The imperfections with this rifle are mostly in the wood. It has been used a good bit and has been bumped quite a few times. That being said, the metal, aside from not having much bluing left, is in great shape. There isn’t any pitting or deep rust areas that could compromise the integrity of the rifle. This model is early enough to have the fixed sights and the metal butt plate that they quit doing after a short period of time.
