Description:
This double action stainless steel square butt N target frame revolver is a Smith & Wesson 629-4 Mountain Gun chambered in .44 Magnum. It has a 4" barrel, a 10 groove serrated backstrap and forestrap, extractor shroud, a pinned fixed serrated ramp front sight, an adjustable leaf square notch rear sight, a fluted and counterbored cylinder, a 10 groove top rib, and a smooth trigger. The stainless steel is in overall very fine condition, with the finish showing no discernable handling wear or marks. The custom Craig Spegel wood grips are in excellent condition. It comes with the original Smith & Wesson blue plastic case, Instruction and Parts Manual, other paperwork, and the original Hogue S&W emblem rubber grips. S&W Product Code 103653. The quality finish and the slightly petite build for a .44 Magnum make this an ideal gun to have along on an Alaskan fishing trip, not too heavy to make carrying it uncomfortable but still plenty of gun. The crisp trigger and clean sights are also very nice when it comes to shooting the gun. .44 Magnum
