Description:
This is a pre-owned Merkel model 160AE Safari sidelock double rifle in .470 Nitro Express. The rifle has a Greener locking system with double underlugs, hand-detachable sidelocks, double triggers with articulated front trigger, express sights and is topped with a Zeiss Victory Varipoint 1.1-4x24mm riflescope on quick-detachable mounts. The rifle features beautifully engraved game scenes signed by K. Knoth plus gold inlays on the sideplates and underside of the receiver. The high-grade walnut is checkered and embellished with deep Germanic scroll carvings. .470 Nitro Express
