Description:
Smith & Wesson .22/.32 Heavy Frame Target Model with a 6" barrel, s/n 517630. Later version of the 'Bekeart' Model, estimated manufacture date is 1933-35. These revolvers were mfr'd from 1911-1941 and the first 3000 in the early 1910's were requested by a reseller named 'Bekeart', hence the original model name.
These are a 22 revolver built on a heavy 32 frame with special oversize grips and adjustable target sights. Metal is excellent with crisp markings, checkered wood grips with medallions. This gun has a heavy frame, pinned barrel and 4-screw construction. Weight: 1 1/2 lbs, Trigger Pull: (SA) 2 1/4 lbs.
