Description:
This Custom gun was built on a 1960 Sako Forester L579 action with an unknown barrel and stock. Wood is solid but has dings, scratches and finish loss all over. Heavy sling swivels are attached. Sako buttplate has lost most of white spacer from age. Barrel has good blue with a couple small spots of blue loss, also on bolt, muzzle and crown. Receiver has turned plum color from age. This is a Controlled Round Feed action. Bore is bright and excellent. Gun is complete with a Leupold VX-1 4-12x40 scope with Duplex Reticle in Weaver rings. If you don't mind the custom work it should be a great shooter! .243 Winchester
