This is a Winchester M1 Carbine chambered in .30 carbine from 1944. This Winchester M1 carbine was manufactured between Feb-Nov 1944. They made up approximately 14.6% of the M1 carbines during WWII. It comes as pictured with everything seen in the first photo. It has an original sling with two magazine slots. it has a total of 8 magazines. two 10 round, four 15 round and two 25 round. The stock is all original and has 2 different metal heat shields one with picatinny rail for optic mounts and the second is stamped Sheetmetal with vent holes. The barrel is 17\" long and for the age the bore is in good condition. It also a G1 style flash hider that can be bolted onto the front of the rifle. It also has an original canvas U.S. carrying bag. The rear sight is easy to adjust and under it is the Winchester stamp mark. On the front of the barrel on top just behind the front sight post are some marking that are hard to see in pictures.
