This M70 is set up for precision shooting with a heavy bench stock. The rifle has been set up with a match chamber in the original 26" Winchester Heavy Varmint barrel.
The muzzle has been crowned. Bore is nice and clean. Trigger is stock but has a reduced spring for a nice consistent pull. A single shot follower is installed but can be easily removed.
Metal is in very good condition. The stock has some minor dings from handling. The weight of the stock is just over 15#.
Some of the photos show a scope that is not included in the sale. The scope mount is included.
I purchased this rifle a year ago and it is a shooter, better than I am for sure. No problem hitting every size plate out at 400 yds with standard Frontier 55gr and 68gr ammunition.
The few times I shot on paper I was MOA at 100yds and 200yds.
Neck problems that come with my increasing age is forcing me to sell......sorry to say.
If you are looking for a fun and accurate bench rig that features ammo that you can stil afford, this is a great rifle.
