Description:
The Model 1922 M2 series of rifles were designed to mimic the full size Springfield Model 1903’s.The M2's were an improvement over the M1 as they had new bolt and firing mechanism that hat an adjustable headspace, eliminating most of the problems of its predecessor. They were chambered in .22 LR. The goal was to give soldiers trigger time on a Springfield 1903 without the expense of .30 Caliber ammo. Many 1922s were used for competition shooting. The Springfield 1922, 1922M1, and M2 have become desired collector’s pieces. This Springfield Model 1922 M2 is in Very Good Plus condition. It has seen some responsible use and care and has nice clear markings on the metal including a “1938” barrel date.

  • Barrel Length: Approximately 24 Inches
  • Sights / Optics: The front sight is a pinned blade atop a riser that is dovetailed to a banded base. The rear sight is fully adjustable Lyman aperture.
