Description:
Excellent condition, light wear, few small nicks and scratches. Large frame magnum revolver with 6 1/2" pinned barrel, polished blue finish, 6 shot fluted cylinder, double and single action trigger pulls, adjustable sights, checkered hammer & cylinder latch and S&W factory wood grips. Registered Magnums were the first production guns chambered for the .357 Magnum cartridge, they served as an influence on all later large caliber double actions. Manufactured to customer specifications and registered to that owner by Doug Wesson himself, approximately 5,400 Registered Magnums were manufactured between 1935 and 1939 are virtually custom revolvers and they continue to be "state of the art" in handgun manufacture today. .357 Mag
