Serial Number: G701
A very clean example of the famous MAS 36. This one is the updated version with the NATO 22mm grenade launcher and sight attachment. Designed to fire spigot style grenades using a blank as propulsive power. Various types of missiles could be launched with some accuracy from the adjustable launcher.
This example, serial number G701 was manufactured in the mid-fifties. It has a mirror bore and very clean furniture. The parkerized parts are 98% factory finish and it retains its spike bayonet. A classic prewar gun that soldered on into the cold war, a rifle as only the French could design, tough and reliable! Add it to your Cold war armory. Thanks for looking!
