Description:
For your consideration is a Type 1 rifle chambered in 6.5x50 Japanese. The Type 1 rifle was primarily used by the Japanese Navy and were originally made in Italy based off on the carcano action and provided to the Japanese. This rifle is in great condition retaining much of its original factory bluing and a very good rated bore, somewhat dark but with strong rifling and no pitting. The stock itself rates very good with minor handling marks and dings from service, the stock has a gap in the dovetail joint on the right side of the stock. Consider this interesting piece of military history for your collection. 6.5 x 50mm
