Description:
Serial #(Series 2) 53949, 7.7mm Arisaka, 26" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a Nagoya-marked rifle that has a mixed number bolt and retains 60-70% of the original blue finish, with a mottled plum-brown and gray patina on the balance. Additionally, there is some gray fading along the high edges and bearing surfaces. The Mum is intact, and all other markings are crisp and clear. The rifle is still equipped with the anti-aircraft wings, but the cleaning rod is no longer present. The stock has numerous small handling marks and surface blemishes scattered throughout, with what appears to be a bullet strike on the toe of the butt. This is a very good-fine example of a battle-captured Type 99 overall. FFL or C&R
