Description:
Serial #232014, .38 Colt, 3" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1904-made revolver that has retained 95-97% of the original commercial blue finish, with some silvering at the muzzle, as well as some small spots of plum-brown freckling along the sides of the frame. The hammer, trigger, and sideplate screws retain most of the original bright fire bluing, while the checkered hard rubber grips are likewise in excellent shape, with only minor handling marks and very little flattening of the points. The lock-up is tight, and the action functions flawlessly. This is an excellent early swing-out cylinder Colt, and would make a splendid addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
