Description:
This is a full wood crate, 50 original boxes for a total of 1000 original rounds, of 8mm Mauser Super Speed ammunition manufactured by Winchester with 170 grain soft point bullets. The one piece red, yellow, white and black box with "K 8004 C" box code and inside flap date code of "A9817" was manufactured circa 1946-52. The boxes are all crate fresh and in excellent condition with sharp corners and edges, bright color and excellent graphics showing only contact marks from storage and travel from the factory. The boxes have inserts from Winchester warning not to use the cartridges in .30 Govt. '06 or .30 Govt. '03 firearms. The cartridges are in excellent condition. The wood crate has red "Winchester" marking with black type and is solid with the top having one split section. A very rare post WWII full crate of ammunition that remains in excellent condition.
