Description:
This is a pair of early target pistols the Model  1925. produced by Hartford arms. The Company which was bought out and became Hi standard. which shortly came out with their first model the model B. The model B wa vertually a Hartford arms  1925.  ( In fact most all parts interchange.).  Hi Standard went on to make refinements and improvements to become one of the  finest producers of target pistols.Hartford Arms only produced approximately 3,500 of the 10 shot auto.  Both guns are very god overall condition.the first gun has approximately 85% original blue finish but is thinning.(see pictures).it has a nice shiney bore with some wear, it hssbut no pits and good lands and grooves. It has the original sights and the original black plastic grips and is mechanically excellent.  The second pistols in about the same condition. The boreis a bit better and the blue is a bit stronger but there are a couple of patches of very light surface rust on the frame that should kleen up easily. It is missing the slide just about all the parts inter change.and over the years I have had two Hi Standard model model B guns that their slides interchanged and worked fine not saying that all model B slides will intervhange because some model B have different disassembly methods.but the second pistol would be a good source of parts.a good second barrel  etc. The second partial gun has checkered black plastic grips also but one grip has a chunk out of the top of the gripe.  I think Every serious  Hi Standard collection should have a Hartford Arms  model 1925  the pistol that gave birth to the Hi Standard line. Both pistols come with two magazines.  Shipping will be the actual cost of shipping to be determined by destination.
