Description:
For your consideration, a Mauser Deutsches Sportmodell chambered in .22 Long Rifle. The DSM was produced during the interwar period as a cadet-type training rifle configured reminiscent of the full-sized Gewehr 98 rifle. While only a single shot rimfire trainer, the DSM replicates the distinctive Mauser type claw extractor, 3 position flag safety, and bolt release mechanism of its larger counterpart. All numbered components match one another, and the buttplate has been engraved with a stag and floral designs on a beaded background. Prospective owners can expect scattered areas of light bluing wear and compression dings in the furniture. .22 Long Rifle
