Description:
WW2 era Springfield Armory M1 Garand with an early postwar barrel. Six digit serial number dates to 1942, the barrel is dated January of 1946. Other marked parts are from mixed manufacturers, see details below.
This M1 is in very good used condition. Metal parts show no pitting, just light surface scratches. The bore is bright and shiny. The wood, likely a commercial replacement stock, is excellent, with no dings, cracks or repairs.
The rifle was test fired and functioned perfectly, cycling through a clip and ejecting the clip at the end.
A reproduction sling and two M1 clips (no ammo) are included.
