We normally ship USPS Priority Mail which should be 2-day ship. Shipping is actual cost with a minimum of $30.00 for pistols and $50.00 for rifles/shotguns to ship to most of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska may require an extra fee. The .410 Lever Action shotgun was built to satisfy those looking for a small bore lever action shotgun able to fulfill a variety of roles. The H018G-410 can be used for hunting, self-defense, target shooting, and can even find use on a ranch against pests. It most definitely falls into the category of “truck gun”. It can also serve to introduce youth to shot gunning minus without having to deal with the off-putting heavy recoil of other, large bore shotguns. While lever-action shotguns have long been a “niche” gun, they have become more popular in the last ten years for the reasons outlined above. The H018G-410 is based upon Henry’s blued steel-framed .45-70 lever action. It will chamber 2.5-inch shells only to facilitate rapid cycling with a short-throw lever. It also keeps the action shorter, and therefore lighter. The H018G-410 features a 24-inch-long barrel that is threaded for Invector-style chokes. One full choke is included with the gun while more options are available from the Henry, including a Turkey TSS choke. The brass bead front sight works well for shooting clays or bird hunting. With a cylinder choke and slugs, the H018G-410 would perform well in deer hunting. The shotgun has a blued finish while the stock and fore end are made of American Walnut. The gun weighs about 7.5 lbs. which is about the normal weight for a lever action rifle. Unlike most early Henry lever rifles which can only be loaded through a tube gate, the H018G-410 has a loading gate in the side of the receiver similar to the Winchester and Marlin rifles of old. This allows the user to top off their magazine more efficiently and quickly compared to the tube gate in most conditions. However, in wintertime when gloved hands come into play, the tube-feed is a better choice. The receiver is drilled and tapped and will work with the Weaver 63B scope mount. Magazine capacity is 5 rounds, plus one in the chamber. This shotgun is new in box and ready to go!
