Description:
This is a copy of a Model 1873 Winchester Carbine made in France. Marked on top of the barrel is "G Paul Ary 108 6th Magenta Paris". A beautifully made gun. 1st Model style with a thumbprint dust cover. There are no Winchester markings anywhere. 20 inch tapered barrel fitted with a saber bayonet lug on the side. Gun is in very nice condition with most all the blue and traces of bright case hardening on the hammer and lever. Stocks are very good with just some minor compression marks. I have only seen one other of these. No doubt the finest made copy of any of the Winchesters. Excellent throughout.
