Just in Lambert Engraved (signed on both left and right side). Lightly and carefully used, only the most modest handling mark or two. Absolutly no issues or flaws worthy of mention.
LOP 13 7/8 to non Browning Pad. Handsome nicely figured stock set. 1966 pre salt gun. Only several hundred of these very high grade guns were made druing the period from 1964 to approx 1969. Not box or hard case.
In the last pic is its twin in 20 ga (see seller's other items) This listing is for the 12 ga 1966 gun only but buy both for a unique pair

Winchester Model 71 Deluxe 1941 Spectacular Bolt Peep, They Do Not Get Much Nicer !
Description:
This is likely the finast example of any many 71's we've had. Other than the Jotsum pad it is in over 90% condtion, no carry wear to speak of and still has front site hood. Light fading of blue on right side of mag tube, forend cap and barrel but NOT rusted or pitted....this one is a KEEPER.. For those who do not know these were an improved version of the model 86 and were/are considered to be the strongest lever actions ever produced (some 86's were chambered in cal's as big as 50-110) This most 71s were chambered in potent 348 Winchester and at a time when few qaulity sporting bolt guns were avail many if not most of these exceptional guns found their way to Alaska as bear guns. The bonus is the LONG TANG and BOLT PEEP and FRONT SIGHT HOOD
